Roush Motor Oil

I see that more as an overpriced Synpower (granted, I realize it is different, at least a little bit)

Though free shipping is nice..

I remember answering a Valvoline online survey, where they asked questions like:
Which would you prefer?
- "Valvoline oil endorsed by Roush"
- "Valvoline Roush oil"
- "Roush oil by Valvoline"
- "Roush Valvoline oil"

I never saw any benefit tying in with Roush....

Bringing this back to life wondering if anyone has any further info other than the vague stuff I find when doing a search online.

99% sure this Valvoline - Roush comarketing program has been discontinued. JC Whitney stock being shipped now on closeout sales pricing is in old dusty bottles. The 5W50 is back ordered "indefinitely" from Whitney.

If anything it's Synpower because there is no VR-1 5w20 or 5w30. I'm so tempted to get a VOA but it's almost pointless since I won't be able to buy it anymore.

I`d always thought it was rebadged "Not Street Legal" VR1. Was it a completely non-detergent racing oil?

So if one wanted to buy a 5W-50, they could go to Autozone and buy Castrol Syntec, or go online and get the Pennzoil Platinum 5W-50 i also found 15W-50 shipped to their door, since even if you ordered this Roush 5W-50 it would never come?

I thought it was a special formula.
