Rotory Corp filter

Just bought a filter for my Briggs & Stratton 27 HP engine on my lawn tractor $9.80 with tax!! Its made by Rotory Corp from Glennville, Ga. Looks like a black Motocraft in construction, same bypass valve location and black ADBV. Anyone heard of this company? I would also like to NOT buy another one for that price!! Can anyone sudgest an alternative? It is a 10888, or a Briggs & Stratton 491056 or Kohler 52-050-02. Does Wix or MC make one, or even Supertech? Thanks

i crossed a b&g part # 491056 to a 3614 (in fram #'s) it is a common car filter and i use it on my B&G in a cub cadet tractor.
and don't feel bad! i bought a b&g filter once for 12.00$ until i figured out they are nothing special. i have been using purolators in place of my b&g filter. mike
