Rotella T 15w 40 Vs. Delo 15w-40

I've had no issues using Valvoline 15-40 or Rotella 15-40, most any 15-40 I feel would work well in that application. The oil, I'm guessing, won't be seeing enough miles to push the limit on any 15-40 on the market. I normally use Valvoline 15-40 in my Model A, last time I had the oil pan off and looked everything over, no sludge and everything looked nice and clean.

If that car has truly never been apart, I'd probably pull the pan and clean the sludge out. It's probably seen mostly ND oil, so it'll likely have some build up in the bottom of the pan.

When I read the VOA section, I seem to remember more Moly and Boron in Chevron Delo 15w40 than Shell Rotella 15w40 so I would choose Delo. That in mind, both oils are excellent if 15w40 works well.
