Is it possible to pull up filters on the rockauto site other than by vehicle application?

ie. My vehicle uses a 3614 filter, but I might want to use a 3600 as an alternative. Can I find listings?

Use. A 1995 Ford Taurus...

You know your on the right track when you see a Fram 3600 / Purolator 20195 in the list....

They have a part number search tab.

It's awkward, though. You can also bing search "rockauto fram 3600".

If you follow my link and edit out the PH in the part number you get all varities of 3600. I can't link directly to that, though.

You'd do well like the previous poster suggested and find a fake car that takes your long filter. Then if a different brand pops up on sale you'd know.

Though it seems you can always find something for under a buck and a half.

Do what Matt said and use the vehicle for which the filter is for. You will get many results.

You can search the part number search, but it'll only give you that part with a small list of other similar models.

Interesting, I do a car search on models that use the 3600, and I also find the 3614 listed.

They do not say that tha 3614 is a smaller filter of anything, they just list it as an option.

Kind of makes me wonder just how far Rockauto will stray from OEM specs when they list a part.

If they list 10 different filters of varying brands for an application, it would be very cumbersome to look up the specs for each to see they will meet your requirements.

I use a 2003 Ford Focus 2.0 DOHC to search this filter type. Specs the 3600 too
