I'm thinking of replacing my front strut setup with topnotch what do you think of this brand

I replaced my strut assemblies with car quest branded ones (AKA PRT brand) and have noticed the ride quality now is incredibly harsh and stuff. There's no give with them and it rides like a bronco. My advice is to stick with OE or a quality aftermarket strut assembly. Mines a beater so I don't care too much lol 😆

Top Notch seems have to recently stormed the scene kinda like FCS did awhile ago.

Based on price and the stupid name I'd expect junk, but that's not scientific.

Give us some real world feedback if you're brave enough to try them.

And keep searching your local classifieds for "Branick" ;)

bottom notch :sneaky:

Sadly, there are no good quick struts for your 2014 ATS. Fortunately, you can still get OEM shocks and struts, but you will need a spring compressor.

Rock Auto does carry the OE shocks, OE springs, OE mounts, and other hardware for your car, so you could build an OE quick strut out of OE parts, if you're willing to use the compressor.

Chinese junk. Period. Dot.

Buy either OE or a reputable replacement brand like KYB. Unless they're rotten (which is doubtful), there's no reason whatsoever to replace your springs...which are tuned for your vehicle and suspension.

If you don't want to tear down and rebuild the struts yourself, pay someone to do it.

Don't springs sag and change characteristics let's say over a decade?
