creaking noise when turning few days after replacing front struts

It might be worth doing warranty replacement on them since they're lifetime.

I just replaced my front left strut on my Camry since it was having the same issue as you with creaking while turning under cold temperatures. Replaced with warranty replacement and noise went away.

Try tighten the top strut mount first to see if it's loose, usually the KYB quick strut mounts they come with are crap but sounds like you got the OEM strut mount that shouldn't be a big deal.
thank you, i did some more digging and seems like its supposed to be at 44 lb foot according to service manual however kyb seems to show 22. i dont know who to believe. i did use the honda oem nut i think so i assume i should follow that?

my apologies if im mistaken but the new mount and bearing dont really seem injectable. this is a pic of the acura mount and the acura bearing just looks like a circular piece of metal. these are the new acura parts i got and installed but i wonder if its somewhere on the top of the kyb strut?

There should be rollers in that second pic piece

Again, I've yet to torque the shaft nut or mount nuts on any strut job I've ever done. Doesn't mean it's right but the concept is simple: they gotta be tight but not tight enough to deform threads or pull the mount studs out ;)

I have an update: I didn’t mean to jump the gun in the morning however when I drove the vehicle this evening I never heard a squeak or squeal Or creak at all

The temperature in the morning was not cold it was probably 45 Fahrenheit. Which should definitely be fine. However the evening it was about 60 Fahrenheit and now that I think about it, I assume this was just due to the temperature? But then again it should not be making any noise at that temperature. I just hope it is break inn noise. As I did a lot of turning and testing this evening and I never heard a squeak at all

sadly the creaking noise is present when cold. it seems like anytime i am driving and the temp is below 45f it creaks. technically 45f isn't even that cold but its still doing it. when its warm out i never hear any noise

i guess all i can do is maybe loosen the strut mounts and reinstall and hope that fixes it?

This is weirdly coincidental, but a friend was hearing similar from his vehicle (2011 Ford Explorer). He took it to a local tire shop, and they told him it was the front stabilizer-bar end links.

He brought it over to me for a 2nd opinion, and I told him I was sure it was wasn't the end links, but rather was likely the strut mounts. (In my experience, failing end links knock over speed bumps and potholes, but don't creak.)

He took it to another friend who is a professional mechanic. He (the mechanic) sprayed the end links with WD40, and the creaking went away. Live and learn!

Anyway, it might be worth shooting the end links with a lube, just to eliminate the possibility of them being the problem.

ty very much now that i think of it, i also did the end links at the new time and put new ones on. i will def try that. wondering if theres any better lube then wd40 to spray on since i know soemtimes wd40 doesnt get the best rep

lastly, i hope i am wrong but the creak sounds like its coming from close to the top of the hood/under the hood. maybe my ears are decieiving me but i would have to guess it may be the strut mounts

The WD40 would be for diagnostics only. I'm sure it wouldn't last long.

Our Nissan uses those bearings. It must be the Nismo springs. They have creaked for about 170k miles. While under warranty the dealer had it for like 3 weeks and couldn't completely fix it. I've personally replaced the mounts and bearings with OEM and it makes it better, not 100% gone, but comes back to normal (creek) soon. Nothing has ever failed. Do you have OEM springs? Try to jack it up and move them around.
