Hollywood icon and his wife were apparently found stabbed to death yesterday in their Brentwood, Los Angeles home.

A lot of hate in the world right now. 
Saw one news report that indicated they were stabbed to death by their son.
Yes, I would think they had a pretty good security system and the police know for sure.
I’m not sure that was a factor in this - the “hate” may have simply been mental illness on the part of a family member - not a societal issue at all.A lot of hate in the world right now.

Looks like their son Nick did it, but, still early. Their daughter threw him right under the bus, maybe for good reason.
I've never trusted a guy that sits like that. I think the ex junkie relapsed and rampaged.

Remember his relationship with Archie? Archie and Meathead would not vote for the same party. There. I said it and Rob was that way in real life and was very outspoken about it. Good or bad.

What a shame. Loved so many of this movies. Stand by Me, Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, Misery, A Few Good Men, The American President.. So many quality films without the sex, violence and language that seems to beset so many movies today. R.I.P.

The heirs of Sam Walton have a complete law office exclusively to protect the family wealth, and I would have to think reasonable to assume to protect the family from their wealth.
Earlier this morning watched a video on a man saying he interviewed three men on their death bed and he reported all the men had the same message "wish I had worked less and spent more time doing other things".
That message always makes me ponder.... really? Are we on earth for reasons other than to produce? Does the male lion say to himself I am not going to go hunting, I am not going to protect the pride and territory? Instead, I am just going to sit back and admire the savannah more?
Giving people things instead of working and producing things sure seems like it can lead to a recipe for disaster.

Yes, male lions do hunt with females, especially for large, dangerous prey like buffalo, but lionesses do the majority of hunting for the pride, while males focus on territorial defense. Males use their size and strength to bring down bigger animals, sometimes flushing prey towards the waiting females, but they also hunt solo as nomads, using ambush tactics in thicker vegetation.
