1. i've slightly stripped oil pan, has a slow drip. i've purchased fumoto f-133 and Permatex® Seal & Lock Thread Compound package states "not recommended with plastic or rubber". fumoto just replied to me their blue washer is "compressed non asbestos fiber". searching internet it appears that means fibers bonded with nitrile rubber. should i not use fumoto washer and change to a metal crush washer?
2a. the permatex youtube instructions show sparingly applied (various locks they don't have instructions for Seal and Lock) only apply 4 threads at tip of bolt. i would guess since i have a leak, pan slightly stripped... i should apply Seal and Lock to entire bolt.
2b. should i apply Seal and Lock to the washer both sides? i read that normally a seal is made from the head of the bolt/washer pressing against the pan. (i always thought it was the threads that made the seal). in my case it seems i should apply Seal and Lock to threads, head, washer both sides.
even after 4 days i found oil drip still every 20 seconds so i shoved a rag up to see if it will soak up the oil better. because i will acetone clean the threads, apply Seal and Lock, then oil drips down onto threads making a poor bond adhesion? so then i'm testing to jack the car to drivers side just before work then the oil will pool away from the drain hole?

thank you for any tips!
