The oldest one, which happens to be on a 95 Impala SS, is 3 years old and 22k miles at oil change service car was still running fine. My 94 Corvette went thru the original unit around 35k miles and a replacement Delphi unit is on it now with 65k miles on the car. Hopefully it will last.

I am not a Cardone fan at all, it just worked out this way that I discovered their 'NEW" line of opti was decent. There are not a lot of good options anymore and Delphi are hard to find and cost upwards of $400. I realize MSD makes a decent unit as well but is costly. I can do an Opti with plugs and wires and a water pump in 2- 3 hours but still never enjoy them.
