Avoid Cardone remans at all costs for a PS pump?

Most new punk failures that I've seen were causes by debris from previous failed pump.

Cardone PSF pumps that I've installed over the year worked fine.

If pumping, flush the fluid with the old pump prior to exchange.
Add a Magnefine or equivalent to the return line of the new pump.
Use a full synthetic ATF.

I flushed according to directions. I made a bit of a mess, but filled with maxlife atf and had no problems since the install. Inline filter would've been a good idea I'm sure.
