Reuters: Italy to offer defunct Stellantis brands to Chinese automakers, report says (none are American)

Considering that Chinese interests have already gained more significant brands in Volvo and MG, I'd doubt that a couple of minor league Italian ones would move the needle much so I'd doubt that the Chinese would want them anyway. Not enough name recognition outside of the relatively small Italian market. Also pretty sure that the Chinese wouldn't want to invest in Italian production any more than anyone else has over the past few decades.
 
Maybe all the gizzards on BITOG will buy reproduced old designs from years past when cars were “better”.

If the Chicoms can make more Fiat 131 and 128s I'll buy one.

Any use of European facilities will involve workers and managers from the purchasing entity.
Is Italy's workforce up to it?
