. Maybe I missed it but what engine does she have in it. And does it have the aluminum body or is it only the F-150's that have the aluminum body. Good luck with it, though you've done well by your Ford trucks. Oh, love the palm trees, you lucky son of a gun

Many thanks! It is the 6.7L Powerstroke diesel and I think it is only the F150s that have the aluminum body.

Yes; 6.7L. The maximum GCWR is 23500 lb.

Is this going to be a daily commute or a trailer hauler?

The dash is quite boring could have been better - cheap plastics and the vents are boring, they heavy duty inside is much to be desired.

Enjoy the new smell!!!

What do you think the name "Super Duty" implies exactly? It certainly isn't "appliance". It is a truck and designed to be functional, good Lord.....

Actually on a Truck, I prefer a simpler dash. We just got new 2015 Ford F150 company trucks and I think the dash is way too car like and busy. Knobs and buttons everywhere. The radio has like 18 presets on FM and 18 more on AM. Keep it simple its a Truck. Of course who really uses a truck as a truck now days.

Thanks. Looking forward to your MPG thoughts. When our F150 needs replaced (hopefully in many, many years) I may go Diesel and it will be nice to hear honest fuel economy #'s.

That is total combined weight rating not payload. Somewhere near the door pillar there should be a tire load table stating maximum payload or cargo and passenger weight of XXXX lb.

Well, what should it have looked like and made of? I know of no vehicle today that does not have a plastic dash--even the most expensive vehicles all have plastic in them--not sure I follow your thoughts. It will be like my F150 was--70% highway/30% city and about 45% of those total miles will be towing. The smell is nice...LOL!

21.2 is the most and 17.1 is the least so far, but that is empty, not broken in, and with a few exhaust cleaning cycles happening. I am certain it will take a few miles to settle in.

When can we expect pictures/videos of you rolling coal and running EGT's north of 1,500*?

Oh, and don't forget the obligatory pull off video versus a 1/2 ton gas truck where you drag him around the block a few times as if it was a real challenge.

All kidding aside, nice truck!

ROFL - I have read about the EGR delete and the tweaks that some folks have been/are doing but that is not for me. Rolling coal can be funny under the right circumstances and that is as long as it is someone else's truck. Too funny and thanks!

Nice. That's better than my Max Tow Ecoboost with 3.73's. I get about a high of 19 and average about 16 or so empty and 6-10 pulling the trailer.

Congrats again!!! It's sweet looking truck - would be a tough decision - King Ranch or Platinum!

Many thanks! With the 0% special, these trucks were rolling off the lot, but they still had a fairly good selection. The one I bought was one of the few that did not have a sun/moon roof and that was a must. I had one in the F150 and only opened it about 6 times in 5 years--a non-essential item for me and I did not want to pay for something I would not use. All of the King Ranches (I think there were four 2015 KRs left) had not one, but two sunroofs! But--the KRs are really nice too. I am still "checking" mine out and the FX4 package that is on it includes Rancho shocks and a host of other suspension upgrades. I am really enjoying it so far.

Why wont FORD give out 0% and also endless selection they make 90% of their profits by selling these bad boys.!!

A F series truck rolls out every 8sec there are many who buy them - not necessarily using them for what they were intended for!!!

The question to ask is w/ all these trucks out there where is value hold over the long run, you just traded a relatively new (in my stds) truck for this badasss truck.

Oh my, what a nice truck! The new F250's look so good! Will this be a daily driver or only when you haul the camper? How is the ride comfort? My g/f's son just bought a used F350 flat bed and that thing rides almost as smooth as my F150.
I think you did well. Enjoy your new truck!
