Resuable oil filters?

I want to throw the filter away along with all the junk that it managed to catch.

I don't even want to contemplate trying to get that junk out of the filter so I can use it again.
It's very satisfying dipping one into an ultrasonic cleaner and watching the funk float out.

I ran one of these stainless mesh filters on my old XR500R. It was not easy to clean, seems I was wasting a lot of spray solvent. Years later I have more knowledge of filtration. Considering the lousy efficiency of these mesh filters, I now prefer to run standard disposable filters. But if you change the oil regularly, I supposed a bike could run well for a very long time with just about any filter as long as it does not fail.
