Underpowered? Again holding this months issue of Motortrend the Malibu 4 cyl is compared to 6 other 4 cyl cars. The 'boo and Camry tie for last in HP(169). For comparison the Accord puts out 190, new sonata 200.
When someone throws out a MPG observation I realize driving conditions affect them. The OP didn't elaborate this was mixed driving, city, or highway. If it was ALL city, the mpgs are OK, otherwise I think it's pretty sucky.
