Removing "Holder?" From Dash

New to me truck. Looks like they had either a cell or xm sat. plastic circle on dash.

I could rip it off buy my luck would rip half the dash off with it. Any thoughts on how to loosen it up or should I just gently pull it off. I was thinking some vinegar to loosen the glue. I also thought after I remove it, would there be a lot of glue and a permenant mark there...so should I leave it on?

Try some Goof-Off product. Test the chemical on the dash in an area out of sight first...

Or go crazy with a 2 foot piece of dental floss, apply the pressure on the upper side of the disk at the adhesive junction, work it back and forth like a chain saw.

I had one of those on my Focus when I bought it. Just yanked it off and left some goo on the dash.

I'm sure that with some work I could get the rest of the adhesive off, but I really dont' care. It's not like I'm going to be entering any car shows with it anytime soon

There's nothing worse than when some doofus glues or bolts a gizmo holder to a dashboard.

Just leave it there and attach one of those little hula girls that wiggles when the car moves.
