What I was saying is that a bypass, in my case, would not have stopped the disintegration of my converter clutch from killing my trans ..but a full flow would have. A bypass will filter fluid better ..but it can't prevent massive contamination from infiltrating the entire trans since it doesn't filter the full flow. In the case of converter ejecta ..it's the same as running just a bypass on your engine. There's nothing to stop it from getting to the vitals.
So ..with a full flow I won't have the ultimate performance of a bypass ..but I'll have added protection and security of an intermediate filter in a most critical point in the transmission fluid flow.
My trans may only last 250-300k as opposed to 500k for Olympic
See? Mine will wear out faster with the full flow
..and yours will wear out even faster without any at all.
