Just thought this was interesting.

I believe the Redline fluid recommendation thing they have online is way too generous on what it thinks it can cover. Using their recommendations caused major issues for this guy:

Personally, I plan to do this as well but I'll be using at least the Fuchs FFL-3 version since it's extremely likely it's the same as the Pentosin.

The Redline fluid recommendation system also recommended a diff fluid for my C63 E-diff that my car didn't like very much. I changed it out for Castrol Transmax which worked great.

We’ve always used Pentosin for PDK with great results and almost always Redline for the final drive/diff - no problems.

Do we know what the actual problems were? More than subjective.

Saying my car did not like xyz gear oil does not mean much.

Mistakes can happen. Was Redline contacted?

Redline has a high quality reputation. Not like going into Family Dollar to use their vehicle recommation tool to find the best Family Dollar gear oil for your Porsche.

Redline's recs are pretty generous sometimes, especially the universal transmission fluids with a million suggested applications. On a modern dual clutch, I would never use anything but OEM, but particularly on the newer 7-speeds. The Fuchs/Pentosin fluids are usually not too hard to find either.
