Redline ATF

Hey I put the D4 in my Saturn's 5spd. It is much slicker shifting now, but I still think the MTL would have been a better fluid to have in there, but I followed the manufacturer's wanting a dexIII.

One thing I forgot to mention is my TL has/had a very slight gear whine like most of them do. The thinner Amsoil ATF helped a little but the thicker ATD helped a lot. That's part of the reason I was thinking of going with Redline's thicker high temp ATF.

BuickGN- I would stick to the D4 in your acura. It took care of pretty much all of the common gear whine in my 99 TL. The high temp ATF is not spec'd for Z-1 and it has a viscosity of 10 as opposed to the 7.5 of D4. I can see this giving you shifting isses. Plenty of acura and honda guys use the D4 and love it, especially for track duty.

Thanks! Between you and Ben, I'm convinced. I guess that viscosity difference is pretty significant.
