There's a ton of good info on Reddit, I find it to be a very useful and entertaining site. There's a subreddit for pretty much any interest you have. I don't post much but frequent a few of the subs regularly.

I've used Usenet newsgroups and I'll take reddit (with it's flaws) over it any day.

I’m a moderator on a few subs on Reddit. I like Reddit just have to avoid certain groups. I’m on there mostly for the movie collectors and all of that.

This can be said of social media in general. The algorithms by design encourages this. Users are fed what they want to believe.
