Red Line Oil

I run the Shockproof in my Harley's transmission. 10,000 mile change intervals. Shifts like butta!

I've been and am involved in several extreme-use racing applications where Redline products perform better than any other oil products tried to date.

I also use Redline products in several of my personal vehicles.

I have been using Red Line for 20 years, always the MTL as manual is my transmission of choice and I have always been pleased with the improvement over factory fill. The S60 in my signature has 65k+ miles on the MTL currently in the gearbox and it shifts as smoothly as the day I put it in (185k miles on the car today). I plan on running this fill of MTL up to 100K interval and performing a used oil analysis if I still have the car at that time.

I have used their motor oils in my vehicles with performance that I am also pleased with, you can reference used oil analysis with details I posted on the same S60 a few years ago with a used oil analysis on Mobil 1 just for comparison:

Mobil 1 0W30 8k Miles - 2004 Volvo S60
Red Line 5W30 10k Miles - 2004 Volvo S60
Red Line 5W30 10k Miles (2nd Run) 2004 Volvo S60
Red Line 0W30 11k Miles (3rd Run) 2004 Volvo S60

From your list of vehicles Red Line's 5W30 looks like an excellent fit for your fleet, this is my personal preference over their 0W30 which would also be a choice to consider.

I appreciate the links; awesome oil.

I'm like you, I prefer to support small American business and you are correct, we vote by how we spend our money.

5w30 will work for everything except my Ram and the vehicle I forgot to list, my 2013 Expedition. For those, I'll go with the 5w20.

As I stated above, the Ram has an OC due in about 2k miles. If I remember, I'll get a few used oil analysis done to see how it fares in the Hemi. I'd like to get ~7500 miles out of it.

Again, thank you.

What make filters have you paired RL with? I think I'll go with M1, Wix XP or perhaps Royal Purple.

Again, thank you.

I have been using MT90 in my 2004 Mazda6 for over 160k miles. Currently at 178k total. I did a used oil analysis on it once upon a time, and the numbers were excellent. 30-40k intervals. I seem to remember posting the numbers here, but way more than 5 years ago.
