Hi,

I searched over this forum and got more complicated.

Can you guys recommend for me to choose?

a. Castrol Edge 0w20
b. Mobil 1 Fuel Economy 0w20
c. Pennzoil Platinum(GTL) 0w20
d. Valvoline Synpower 0w20
e. Toyota Genuine(Green bottle) 0w20

I'll change the oil for every 6,000~8,000 miles.
I drive my car 85% within the city and 15% on the highway.

Gimme the answer

Thanks guys!

Yellow bottle means Pennzoil Ultra?

As far as I researched, Valvoline is the most inexpensive one. No experience with Valvoline yet, but is that good one too?

+1. Whatever 0w20 is the least expensive at Walmart.

No, the yellow bottle is their standard "conventional oil" , your Camry will run on unicorn pee, seriously any SN rated oil will do, from a conventional to Ultra, I think oils are more similar than different.

I was looking at getting one of these but I decided to keep my old girl.
If I had one I'd run either a 5w30 blend or Full Synthetic but if you want to go 20 then pretty much any 5w20 blend would be fine too

All 5 of those oils are very fine oils. You can get the Mobil 1 at Wal Mart for 25 bucks or so. If you catch one on special somewhere, pick it up. That engine will love any of those oils.

Any...but id go with b, ive used them all cept a & d and prefer b. If you run ur oci a bit further go with the Mobil 1 Extended Performance 0w20 and run an M1 or TRD filter and Im sure 10+k miles would be done with ease. The EP has more PAO than the AFE and is only a few bucks more per jug.

For 6-8k whatever oil is on sale. I do mainly mixed driving in my 2010 camry and I do 10-12k with Amsoil Signature. My pick would be Pennzoil or Toyota whichever cheaper. For that low of an oil change interval any of them is fine tho

All would work fine but if price was no object I'd put the Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy first as it supposedly has a higher amount of Group 4 and 5 base oils in it than their standard M1. Pennzoil Platinum would be a close second, especially considering the price.

For what it's worth I have been running Pennzoil Platinum 5w-20 in my Scion and find it to be a great oil. The engine runs very quiet and smooth on it.
