Recommendation for supercharged LT1

I have a 95 Firebird with a built LT1 (bored .030 over, forged crank, etc) and its supercharged (self contained, uses its own oil seperate from engine. I was wondering what a good oil for it would be. I've been using VR1 for about 4k miles but was told by the engine builder it would be fine to run a 10w-40 synthetic

I wonder which would be better out of a 10W40 synthetic or a 15W40 synthetic?

Yeah I've been running the 20w-50 but its broken in now so I'd like to switch to a synthetic

I`ve got a case of RP 15W40 I`m saving for my summer oil.

I really think this is an ideal application for Redline in a 10w30 weight. I use this in my Grand NAtional (turbo). I used Mobil 1 prior to the Redline and I wouldn't hesitate to use either but the Redline is just a bit better.
