Your correct, if you consider 6+ years ago "recent".

If this is true then why does it say on the back of meguairs products that the home office is in Holland while 3M is in Minnesota.

I use Meguiar's every other month...is that too frequent? I didn't think it would cause any harm, but I'm open for suggestions. I wash my car twice a week, so I figure that breaks down the wax quite a bit and plus I live in New England...my car is covered in salt 3 months out of the year.

Unfinished çlaims a years worth of protection from their experiment. They consider 52 car washes equal to a year of time.

Typical tv foolery. What they hide from is the fact that a year of time makes it degrade, rain, acid rain, tree leavings, bird droppings, and the kicker, sun, heat, and UV degradation.

But many of us see a full year or more using NuFinish in the real world. There is no doubt that it is one of the most durable waxes on the market.

As long as the product isn't a compound/polish, every other month isn't frequent at all. I'm currently trying to use up my Meg's NXT 2.0 and wax every month. As for salt, I'm pretty sure that when you wash every two weeks, you spray the undercarriage.

Just finished using the meguirs cleaner wax. It came out pretty good. I do think I may try a clay bar one of these times.

6 years is recent

Here's an exerpt fron 3M in wikipedia:

On April 4, 2006, 3M announced its intention to sell its pharmaceutical non-core business. The pharmaceuticals businesses were sold off in three deals, in Europe, the Americas, and the remainder of the world. Another division of the Health Care business, Drug Delivery Systems, remains with 3M. The Drug Delivery System division continues to contract manufacture inhalants and transdermal drug-delivery systems, and has now taken on manufacture of the products whose licenses were sold during the divestiture of the pharmaceuticals business.[13] On September 8, 2008, 3M announced an agreement to acquire Meguiar's, a car-care products company that was family-owned for over a century.[14]

I really like Rejex paint sealant.

You will need to prep the paint with a cleaner before you apply it.

Actually, some time with a Porter Cable polisher and Pinnacle XMT swirl remover would be time and money well spent.

Rejex is very durable and bounces back from the typical emvironmental damage you will see in 6 months of use.
