You can try but why not get the issue diagnosed?

Transmission guy said it's definitely trans shudder he said fresh dluid and an additive can't hurt but don't be surprised if it doesn't help. He did say often times the lube guard and Lucas stuff does help at least for awhile.

You nailed it as the worst. Far more problematic than E4OD.

I would do a full fluid exchange and either LG red or Platinum. I would say the Fixx product, but it doesn't seem to last very long.

I Changed 6 quarts I'm going to do it slowly not to shock the system I put some Lucas conditioner in it and already the shudder is gone entirely. Who knows for how long but definitely a major improvement.

The Lucas is a band aid start saving some cash.

I would have started with the fresh fluid, skipped the Lucas garbage.

Forget the Platinum. He doesn't need a conversion additive. Go with Red if needed after the fluid change.

Thanks - 10% of these transmissions failed under warranty. Chrysler came within a hair's breadth of being forced to recall those transmissions. I don't know how they dodged that bullet.... probably because it would have devastated the company.
