Anybody confirm fitment for:

Sach's SXR-318-149, SXR-318-150, SXR-318-151

I think I'm good, Sach's seems to be more universal than most applications. Should have bought a Camry have always thought the Accord rode hard and am looking for a softer ride with a quality shock. Go to Rock seems to be spotty on availability.

Not really looking for oem or KYB, or Bilstein for that matter.

Honda *Accord Sport, right?

If your 2015 Accord is the Sport model with the oversize wheels and no-profile tires, you can swap them for the 16 in wheels from the base model and use 205/65-16 tires which will give you a much better ride :D
I know- the snows are on 16in rims and the ride is improved. But not buying more rims, replaced stock with lighter Enkie's and that improved the summers.

Sachs website confirms those part numbers for the front, but says 317-513 for the rear. FYI.

I'm shopping for struts for my '15 Sport also. I'm going with KYB myself.

How many miles on your Accord?

Sachs makes some great shocks. They don’t have them for a lot of vehicles. Thats excellent that they have them for the accord.

eBay has a good bit of oem wheels out there, and the smaller sizes can be had for decent buys. Getting the unspeung weight down certainly does a lot too, as mentioned above. (I do love me some enkies!)

yup Sachs was good stuff, firm/responsive but comfortable. Not harsh. Had them on my 96 Civic, and they lasted a long, long time! I think lately some of Sachs stuff is re-branded TRW because it's the same company now. I'd go with Sachs over KYB or Monroe, definitely.

Rock has a wierd year range for that one 2009-2015 Accord. But they have 2 Summit is special order and they are harder to find.

90k km, don't need any yet but it always cheaper to source when not in a panic.

Go back to the Sachs website and search under struts and shock absorbers.....

Do the stock wheels have different offsets F/R? Why would they make a different offset for the same size?
Asthetics of fwd, front has a wider track and with the body lines I pushed the rear out 15mm and it looks so much more BMWish (better) to me. So stock rims are all the same.

So OP is looking for new shocks, complaining about harsh ride, but running staggered offsets purely for cosmetic appearances?

This is all very confusing. OP wants it to look sporty like a BWM but ride like something a lot less sporty?

Tires and wheels affect ride far more than any shock ever could. You want better ride, you already know how to get it— smaller wheels with more sidewall.

Not happening.

Sach > KYB by a little to a lot depends on your own preference and vehicle. I'd pick Sach if I don't want to spend a lot for Bilstein.
Not a Bistein fan, but I don't think they make any for thos app.

BTW this would be a replacement only when the current struts have problems- not going to parts change just because. But I do know Honda oem aren't going back in unless the Touring model has a nicer valved shock.

for further processing of your request, we kindly ask for the following information:

Sachs 318 151 are correct for the rear of your Accord Sport..

Your question to us:

2015 Honda Accord Sport (Canada) looking for a set of Sach's struts. The front struts are straight forward, the rears are giving two part numbers and application is unclear. If any choice- looking for a plusher ride than poem.
318-151
317-513
