Where in Canada are you? I had a local parts supplier that would sell to non-commercial customers in the GTA area. His prices were excellent and he could source anything from no-name white box parts, to name brands.

I'm not in the GTA but in Ontario.
If you are further south you can just buy parts in Buffalo? I'm assuming with gas and QEW tolls it's a wash?

With the gas prices, not worth it. Plus, my old parts are making noise.

I would use the Bosch Quietcast and the centric rotors. That should work fine. Like others have mentioned, if you're in the rust belt, get some coated rotors.

cheapest rotors from rock auto, hit the inside of the fins, inside of the hat and outside with high temp caliper paint and run some AZ/AAP lifetime warrantied pads.
Local rotors at the auto chain here (Cdn Tire) are on sale -$50/rotor and was wondering if EBC Ultimax 2 are good - on Amazon, $75 - pads are gonna be $50-ish and will be made in China and all seem comparable unless I get Akebono. I also can order from RA - and get pretty good rotors (coated) w/ Akebono for the same $175-ish. If I get cheaper - it'll be around $150 if I get the coated.

POWER STOP JBR964EVC vs RAYBESTOS 980138 Specialty vs Centric 320.40055F (PA lists these as performance grade but RA lists these as only 'daily' driver and only 'semi-coated' - so confused.... are these a step lower than the previous two I listed?).
Wondering if these are better than the OE Plus series I mentioned. I suspect they are.

I'm debating between these two - both are under $50 - the Raybestos is a bit cheaper. I understand you bought these some years ago - ppl are saying these have declined in quality. Maybe I should get the Powerstops and make it a day like someone else said?
My main reason to delay now, though, is that I have to make sure they take my bank card/CC - and I found a discount code - not much $ off but it still reduces the final price. I'll probably order them today. We had a huge snowfall and our driveway wasn't plowed yet. I'm not moving the car so....

Does EBC offer anything for your vehicle? Granted my neon has rear drums but the raybesttos seem to be holding up just fine.I need to do rotors and pads - rear - on an Accord '07 EX.
Is there a difference when doing the rear brakes vs front?
Second question - which brand/model?
In Canada, *local* prices are pretty bad - and so I'm ordering online - Rock Auto charges $40 shipping so I'm just comparing prices/choices vs Parts Avatar which has free shipping and so it should come out a bit cheaper. Not as many choices and a bit confusing - some parts that RA says is Premium - is categorized under 'OE' on PA.
Anyway, I'm confused/indecisive or maybe just overthinking - the parts seem pretty comparable - except for slight changes on price - or maybe someone reading this will think certain ones are 'better?' Also, I guess they're all from China, now? Unless, I pay extra, they are probably all pretty similar quality wise or am I wrong? If so, please explain and recommend?

Raybestos Element3 - $57* (*these seem to have mixed reviews for now /current - quality has gone down maybe? But, the reason I was going to rate the other 2 higher is because they're a bit cheaper and probably as good or better?).
What would you choose if these are the choices?
Yes, UD537 Ultimax 2, but they're around the same price as the Akebonos and not available at RA - I could order the same rotors and EBC pads (they're red and I think, ceramic? - on Amazon) but, I think the total price would be a bit higher and not discount options.
I didn't see any options for EBC rotors.
Sorry, I really don't have an answer for you, all I can say is I'm disappointed in learning the quality dropped off. By the time I'm ready for brakes I'll have what I'm going to use sorted out.Would it include this one?:

I haven't gotten any of the rotors since the decline in quality started showing up, but I'd still use the Powerstop and see how they hold up
Rotors don't have performance. Just quality.
Get any rotor with rust protection that you trust will not warp easily.
Just a heads up about EBC and euro pads.
Most euro pads had copper reduced or removed in 2020 due to regulation so they behave differently now.
