This is 3 years old but a reale Clermont home with a basenent...
It wasn't for you broFive bedroom, no thanks. Three bedrooms and a bigger garage is all we need. Hard pass on a pool too.![]()
Just watched Dee the realtor in Winter Haven.. A new build..No disrepect to anyone but as everyone is screaming costs are too high, builders are cutting costs were they can. Tract homes are going to be the worst. Finished living space will be $350 psf whereas a garage space will be $65 or lower.
The last house I built had a 4 car garage that was large enough to keep 4 cars at the same time with the doors open. The limiting factor though is wind ratings on the garage door. This becomes a wind mitigation issue.
And no, I never had 4 cars in there and towards the end I was lucky to get 1 car and my Harley in it.

My feelings exactly, and it doesn't do your homeowner's policy any favors either.I feel you on the pool. Had a house one time with a pool. It indeed was a hole in the ground you just kept throwing money into. Probably spent $8,000+ in 7 years in repairs and it STILL leaked. Not to mention all the chemicals, electricity, and extra water bill. Nope. Never again!

I hear ya. Florida vs. Mississippi's insurance rates? My bet is Florida is way, way higher, it's higher than L.I. and we pay a lot for insurance. I think the fence is probably mandatory no matter where you live.Insurance wasn't bad, but this was Mississippi we were talking about
I was required to keep a fence up. Not that me or the dogs minded that!

Most likely they had no choice.. guessing it's a 60s house and the old failed septic required this but it's hideousNow that is just plain stupid. Probably saved a few dollars but good luck selling it. Maybe it's a rental.
Yes exactly...Typical for gas water heaters. Notice it says ignition source.
Was it sitting on a pan way back then .My gas water heater in Charlotte was 18 inches above the floor. They used a metal stand obviously built for this. This was 1996 build.
I have gas stove also and also hate it. No idea why cooks love them. Inductions seems to be best of all worlds.
Yes, but the pan was on top of a metal stand - sort of like this oneWas it sitting on a pan way back then .
