Really, how reliable is a Chevy (2009 and up)?

I was issued a "spare" 2010 Impala by may company in Septemebr of 2011 because I did not want to wait for the next order cycle for a new one. It was ridden hard an put away wet. Most cars in my company are single-driver cars but this thing was used by whomever needed a car for the day, ie. out of town visitors, guys in between cars, guys whose cars were being serviced, people who do not receive cars, etc. I have put over 20K miles on it since I picked it up. Drove it from NJ to Cleveland and back last week. Knocked down a repsectable 29MPG average at around 70MPH average.

It has been trouble free excepting tires which I can't blame the car for. We have a lot of GM cars in the fleet. Malibus, Impalas, Traverses, vans and pickups. I don't hear a lot of complaints abpout reliability. The Impala is a little small for my tastes, but it is what it is.

An interesting aside, my company has removed Chrysler vehicles from the list for 2012 citing unacceptable operating costs. We can still pick Fords and GM's, but no more Mopars. I don't find the design of the Impala particularly inspiring but reliability is not a concern. The Malibu looks to be a more pleasing and modern design. I may go that way for 2013. I won't go with a Mexican-built Fusion.
