Had the pads replaced on my Avalon a few weeks ago. These pads seem to get good reviews, so I thought I'd share a pic.
Pads have a little over 60k of hard city driving on them.

I put a set on my daughters Scion, only about 12,000 miles on them so far, but seems people have been happy with them and getting good life.
I know so far I have been happy with stopping power and minimal dusting, just no idea on life yet.

I've got a set on Project xB, and they screech something fierce when reversing or cold
It might be ill fitting hardware
I got OEM hardware, I'm gonna warranty the pads and try again
Maybe some CRC brake quiet on the shims?

I just replaced a set of these on my car with about 40,000 miles on them.

They were grinding and squealing pretty badly. I was surprised that they still had as much pad on them as they did. But I decided to replace them because of the obnoxious noise. The pads had some cracking on them when I took them off.

I'm trying out CENTRIC PQ PRO this time around.

I grit my teeth with brake squeal. Pretty much I always:
1. Use the shims
2. Use the red CRC anti-squeal goop
3. Rough up the rotors. Preferably spinning while facing the belt sander. I’ll mount the rotors outside out, then inside out, letting the belt sander spin it along.

sometimes #3 has been the winning move.

The EHT3 pads lasted a month on a Sienna and about 2 weeks on a Rav4. Would clunk with every braking application. Swapped lads left to right and crossed sides. Kept clunking. Don't know if I got bad sets or the quality is getting worse. 2x cars in a row and I no longer have confidence in them. Never use to have problems with them over the years. Went back to Centric pads and no more brake clunking.

I have been using EHT pads on both my Nissan's - front and back - zero issues, no squealing, clunking, some but not too much dust, stop really well.

Granted all mine were bought before the pandemic, when QC was still a thing, so maybe they have declined? I hope not

I’ve never liked them, no idea why people on here do. The 3 negative reviews in this thread don’t surprise me at all.

EHT3 pads haven't caused me any concern. For the money, excellent pad. And, I will continue to install them, with new/turn runout verified rotors, cleaned hubs, fully bleed hydraulics, and all lube/torqued/installed correctly. They come with anticlunk springs for applications that require them, that so many don't install or use.

Most pad problems that I've seen were installer issues, which no one would admit too. Doesn't make a difference what brand. Forums worship shortcut taking hacks. Then even bigger hacks jump in to defend the hacks. Sad world.

Others just don't know what to do with a semi-metallic pad since they want their safe space and metallic pads tend to communicate. Most owners want the full zombie unattached braking experience. Wahhhh my semimetallic pads act just like semimetallic pads.....

Meh.... Haven't been impressed with Raybestos EHT3, except for them having good stopping power.

Squeaking, grinding, cracking with the EHT3---not a great experience.

So, I am willing to see what else works and if I like it better. I'm trying some other brands of pads out. So far so good. We'll see how it goes.

And your misplaced assumptions that anyone who doesn't agree with you "took shortcuts", is "a hack", or goes "wahhhh" about semi-metallic pads is sort of juvenile. But you do you.

Do these pads create more braking power with less pedal effort? I am considering putting these on my old 99 Caravan that is known for weak brakes. #EHT730H supposedly the best pads Raybestos sells.

Have them on our Odyssey in the front right now. Great pads with no noise, clunking, or cracking.

I would agree on stopping power. Just put these on all 4 corners of my Buick and 0 complaints so far. Smooth and quiet engagement and with a little more pressure grab really well. Will see with a few more miles what they are like but I haven’t experienced any of the issues listed above so could just be application dependant.

Whelp- I ordered a set of the EHT3 rotors and pads for my Rav4 (of course before reading these posts) so hopefully I won't have any issues with them. I should have them installed by Saturday.

Two yrs ago I installed EHT3's (front and back) on my 2015 Caddy and they have been great - smooth, quiet, good bite and no dust. Of course I cleaned, lubed and bled the brakes then bed them in properly.

I haven't used the EHT3 myself however, I did just introduced my buddy to them for his wife's PILOT. He bought them from RA on my recommendation from here at BITOG. I'll have to ask him how they're working for his wife's SUV as she will indeed complain if there is something wrong.

I’ve had them on my F250 for a while now and have none of the issues mentioned here. It tows regularly and does a lot of road trips so they get a workout. Hopefully it’s not a sign of failing quality.

The product line is called Element3 EHT not "EHT3"
Enhanced Hybrid Technology

With that being said, I also installed Raybestoes EHT pads and rotors on front of my Silverado and they have exceeded OEM in all aspects.
