Need a late minute decision help…
I’ve decided to go with Raybestos brakes and shoes as my brakes need replacing.
For those that have used or are using Raybestos rotors/pads give me your opinion.

Rotors: PG plus 32.99 or Raymond 36.99

Pads: QuietStop Non-ferrous Ceramic pads 55.99
Professional Grade; Semi-Met 49.99
Raymond: 33.99
PG plus Ceramic: 53.99
SuperStop: 55.99

Which should I go for?

PG Plus Ceramic pads on two vehicles with no noise and little to no dusting. 30-something dollars ($39 maybe, can't remember) at Checker Auto a month and a half ago. Compare on-line price vs. in-store. They beat the on-line price when I called.

PG+ = Professional Grade (good stuff)

Ray MOLD = Service grade (cheap stuff)

For your S-Series right?

Front rotors are $13.99 for the Aimco-GS (Raybestos), or $33.99 for the Advanced Tech (Raybestos) ones.

Online price is definitely lower. They'll beat the price. I have a set of Duralast Golds from Autozone on mine right now and I really can't recommend them.

BTW...I thought you just put a set of ProACT ceramics on yours ??? Or am I thinking of someone else?

.......is the brake KING.

That's mine, this is the other saturn, I just want to experiment with raybestos as people here mentioned they had good luck with these. Something happened with the ProACT + brembo rotors as I am getting pedal wobble while braking. I hope they did not warp, but this other car is a priority so mine will have to wait.

In fact this car had the duralast golds and they too warped, so I am going to try these raybestos and see.

So I will go with the PG rotors and for the PG pads should I go with PG Plus Ceramic or PG Semi-Met?

You know, Saturn had a TSB out on the S-Series regarding issues with front and rear brake noise on the
Of course, this is all irrelevant if you've replaced the rotors with aftermarket.
