Ratchet Lube......

I just let the ratchets soak over a weekend once or twice a year.

To break them in, I spin them with a drill in both directions.

You answered my next question already ... how does one break in a ratchet?

Only observation I have on ratchets is that the new high tooth count are actually very nice. The old Craftsman/Billings in my tool drawers are actually less favorable for everyday use, I must admit.

Briggs and Stratton (Breaks and Scrap 'Em) also claims "Just check and add" and many automotive manufacturers claim lifetime transmission fluid.

Wake up sheeple, Big Ratchet is trying to increase their sales volume!!!!!

Switch to synthetic and you can go 2-3 days

Krytox is the only suitable lube for a ratchet
