Ram is 'actively and aggressively' looking at smaller trucks

They already offer smaller Rams in other markets. All they need to do is federalize them and sell them here :)

The Ram 700 in Mexico is a rebadged Fiat Strada, which is about the size of the Santa Cruz and Maverick.

The Ram 1200 is a rebadged Mitsubishi Triton pickup sold in almost every country other than the US and Canada. It's their counterpart to the Ranger, Colorado, and Tacoma/Hilux.

Remember the Dodge Ram 50?
My dad had a mitsubishi mightymax.. (rebadged ram 50)
was pretty sturdy 6 lug rear axle etc. 5speed MT with 4.10 or 4.11 rear.

MANUAL STEERING(ie not power steering)

It was the other way around, the Ram 50 was a rebadged Mitsubishi.
So it was. Had it backwards (was a long time ago)

It had the 2.4L? would leak oil like sieve except maxlife 10w30.
I remember watching the upper end getting rebuilt (collapsed lifter?)

Fun fact.. it was a drug dealers repo'ed truck had some bullet holes.

I had a 2000 Dakota Sport. Flame Red with a V8 and a 5spd manual. Fun and trouble free for 120,000 miles. A lot of towing a 4000 pound load over Texas Highways.

When did Ram make cars?
Rampage

GM and Dodge see people buying Mavericks, even though they are far from a small truck
