Newer Dodge "Ram" trucks with Rust?

We use a 2015 Ram 1500 a plow truck for the Ohio snowbelt. I'll have to recheck rust as it looked okay so far, but if you're looking at options for them, check repossessed auctions. There were a large number of Rams available when we looked, although nearly all had a cracked windshield. The CD player ate one of my discs and died, though; it must hate jazz.

The Titan with the Cummins has a horrible reputation. No one works on the Cummins and its reliability is sketchy coupled to a trans that has zero parts availability
All I will say about the 5.0 is that you never see those Nissans in a Cummins engineering facility parking lot.

By contrast, a Ram with the 5.9 or 6.7 is *everywhere.*

Currently have a 2012 Ram 1500 with 210k. No visible exterior rust on body.
I shot the frame and underbody with RusFre thick, black undercoating.
Did not do any interior cavities. I drive it everywhere, all year.
But, going down gravel roads (few times per year) I don't fly!
IMO that blasting is what takes out all your body panels.
Not the fact that main drag/freeway salt-spray is washing over those panels.
