I'm looking to purchase a set of all terrain tires for my 2019 Ram Classic 1500 4x4 quad cab. I'm stuck between the Nitto Terra Grappler G2 and the Falken Wild Peak AT3. Had any of you had experience with both these tires? Feedback would be great. Either is around $1,100 a set. Thanks.

Another 2019 Ram 1500 classic owner here.

Those are both highly rated tires either way.

I had a set of Starfire Solarus AP's put on mine a month or two back. I think I was at $413 all-in installed on those, but they're not the same class as the two you mention. Mine has the 17" wheels.

I'd go with the toyo's over the nittos. same company better tire.

The toyo open country AT III were on my short list but I went in a different direction with Continential terraincontact AT

These are good looking tires. If I wanted next size wider would I get the 265 or 285? 275 is the size I have now.

Found this tool online. Looks like a tad taller and wider. I think the 285 might look better. What do yall think?

the first number is the section width in mm
second number is the ratio percentage of sidewall height

so you would want 285 but they would be slightly taller -bigger overall diameter as well.

if 275 is the stock size.. there shouldnt be any issues going to that minimally bigger size.

From what I've seen with Falkens, once the tread starts to wear, they lose all their siping. I'd pick something else.

I would go w the nittos. When I was tire shopping for my 4x4, the sales guy, who had a newer ram 4x4 that he uses for off-road as well, he could buy any tire at cost and he chose the terra grapplers based on research, buddies and customer experiences and is really happy w them. I’m not a fan of falkens although many people who have them are happy. I have 285 and I recommend them

This guy liked the toyos.. they are all 3 good tires..

And the toyo AT III is better in every way vs the toyo AT II.

Do you have a picture of them on your truck?
