Raise target height suggestions

Yeah, I was looking for some T fittings to run a cross piece closer to the bottom. I guess I could use PVC Ts on the conduit...so good idea, thank you!
I used one made that way for years. Yep, a cross base and even a second cross piece above it will keep it pretty steady. You can also plug the uprights so the steel target legs don't have to go all the way down in.

I was thinking about plugging them...wasn't sure what to use. I thought about just drilling holes straight through each tube and using a screw and nut... what were you thinking?

Like you're thinking, but the target has pointed ends that would try to go by the screws. So a dowel slid into each upright to give a flat stop held by your screws.

You're right. I would have to fight to get the pointed target legs out each time. How do you secure the PVC tees to the half inch EMT conduit? JB Weld putty type epoxy? Or???

Oh. I meant use PVC Tees too. If you don't glue them together it makes it easier to replace a broken length of PCV. Yes, someone is going to shoot one eventually. :ROFLMAO:

But isn't the PVC tee going to be too loose over the conduit because it's a slightly larger inside diameter than the outside diameter of the conduit? So how do you secure the PVC tee to the conduit?

I didn't use metal conduit. Just made the whole thing out of PVC and slid the metal target legs into the uprights. Base and all out of PCV.
If you have metal conduit, I'd skip the PCV and use what you've got.
The plan would be the same, just the materials different. Sorry, I didn't mean to send you on a tangent if you already have the metal tubing.
