Stocking shelves at work today, realized the labels on our oil bottles were a tad bit different, now the 10w40 is SN, going from SL, and the 10w30 is SN going from SM, all good products regardless, many taxis use these oils around here, especially the 10w40. All our in house stuff is made by Warren, fuel additives, etc, I have used some, with no ill effects in my truck (ie, Power Steering fluid, Brake Fluid, etc) never the oil, Should get a VOA done on it. Ah well, just giving everyone the update in the SE USA that they have upgraded in a sense.

I know that a lot of the Gypsy Cabs and Car Service Vehicles in NY and NJ are topping off all the time with AZ 15w40 and 10w-40. They just keep going strong. Most of the vehicles are older Crown Vic models or old Chevy Impala's but they keep rolling along.

The parking lot and trash cans in Newark, NJ are overflowing and strewn with used quarts of AZ motor oil in the orange container and the simple green anti-freeze in the Orange Jug.

That doesn't paint a pretty picture..

That is life....these are the most popular oils going. I made a visit to a couple of AZ stores in Newark when the Kendall synthetic blend with Ti was on clearance for $3.29 a quart and less than the AZ conventional, on the shelf next to the Kendall.

I let a couple of cab drivers know of the sale....but they insisted that the only oil that they use is the AZ conventional and they would never switch brands. People have their preferences with years of driving to back it up.

Ahh, those cabbies...so brand loyal...so smart!
