Quick help with Fuel Power question....car in shop

Hello,
My 2002 Camaro is at the dealer getting a couple things done. They told me that they think the fuel system needs cleaning as they think or say the throttl is a bit slow in responce. The cars has 51,000 miles on it and I use Fuel Power every tank and have only missed a few tanks lately when I ran out but ordered more. Do you think my Camaro needs this BG Maching Fuel system cleaning since I use Fuel Power every tank?
I thought FP takes caro of this problem?

this sounds like a typical service scam.

Have you noticed any issues with performance or throttle response?
Did the dealer offer this above what you asked to be serviced?

You probably just need the throttle bodies cleaned. I don't think BG44 will help with this in the gas tank.

The gas tank additives won't clean the throttle body, but a $3 can of throttle body spray will clean that off.

and the fuel filter is easy to change, new plugs couldn't hurt either
