Question for those who reuse oil filters

IMO leaving the filter isn't reusing it, it's just continuing to use it.

If I remove a filter - any filter - it ain't going back on.
(y)
yearly- dealership does oil+filter
1/2year-i suck the oil and pour new. filter untouched (6000km is not much)
imho this better than just keeping the same oil in pan for whole year.

smallest debris will pass the filter anyway. 5µ? 10µ? 15µ? 20µ? who knows..
i do not expect big chunks on 4yo car - maintained like this. looks pristine.

Do you guys pour in a quart of new oil with the drain plug open to make sure and purge all that oxidized oil out of the pan too? :ROFLMAO:🤦‍♂️
No, because new oil is supposed to be dirty. Yes, it is another thing to add to the list of “what people have learned on Bitog.”

Well do what you are comfortable with but Honda has have DI and oil dilution problems. I'd change it all out! Get a reading on your fuel dilution!
On SOME of the early 1.5 turbos driven in cold weather, yes. Small number overall and only on one engine. I have a 2012 K24, very solid engine overall.

Na I use a quality oil flush like 95% of all professionals except here on BITOG. So, more oxidized oil in the circuit is better than less?
So, a flush product diluting the oil and reducing the base oil viscosity and additive package is better than less?
