This Parker hose was purchased 2 times from Amazon for $50 each in 2015. Now 3 times the price and Amazon does not have them. Not a problem as mine are fine. Best hose ever. I have tried them all. Unusual 75 ft. length perfect for front and back yards. Parker is commercial and industrial quality stuff.

But my wife, the gardener, does not like them. That's OK, she likes the expandable types.

Is there a good one of this type? The "pocket hose" you see advertised on TV? That will actually last more than a year? Don't need a nozzle, just a hose.

My sister-in-law just gave me her old 100 foot stainless steel jacketed flex hose because it was too heavy for her to handle anymore. I gladly took it, and now I can dump the POS China garden hose I bought at Home Depot. Kink free it was NOT.

Look at Flexi-hose or Hydrotech. Folks seem to like these 2. Pocket-hose also makes one with aluminum fittings instead of "copper" (brass). It is super lighweight at ~2lb for a 50 footer so seems well suited for a casual gardener.
