Expandable Garden Hose..

Can anyone recommend a good quality Expandable Garden Hose. I bought the Pocket Hose and it only lasted one summer.

It was like the one in the link but I dont think it was 3x stronger type.

I found "XHose" to be up to the job. Unfortunately I bought from a UK store called "Homebase". I don't know if an equivalent is sold in the USA.

I went through every brand. I still like them. But you can't leave them under pressure- use and shut off. When it gets cold bring them indoors. In the end you will get another year out of them but 2 years is about it- unless you never use them.

I went through three of those that you link- they ruptured in use and the construction was thin and low quality.

But "Al" says they have a warranty and are made of the "best" materials.

My wife gave me a pocket hose for my birthday a few years ago. We leave it outside. It still works great.

It expands when it's not flowing, and shrinks when water is flowing.... It's not which flow system, but it's good for spraying dirt in a pinch.

Ours is an old model with plastic ends, and they're still fine. I'd likely buy one again for the convenience, if not too expensive.

There are several on Amazon with great reviews- not the TV models. I would love to buy a good one. Anyone get one that really works and lasts?

I have seen none that are worth buying. I read the reviews online and all you see is that they are all junk. I bought a GatorHyde hose and love it.

I have one expanding hose on a reel. I keep it in the camper. Its 10 years old but is only used once a year.

We bought a Pocket Hose 4 or 5 years ago, we use it 3 to 4 times a week for watering flowers and car washing.

Never leave it under pressure for any length of time as in hours. Never leave it outside during the winter.

Great product, paid about $10 bucks for it at Home Depot.

I've never found any that last, but they are convenient enough that I always replace them.
