Has anyone noticed the price of regular QS keeps dropping? Two years ago they were neck in neck between Valv/Penn/Castrol then they started being a quarter or two cheaper. Now at Advance they're like 1.75, not much higher than the Shell or for that matter the Advance house brand.
 
Our local Walmart had two 5 qt. jugs of Quaker State High Mileage 5w30 left without the Slick 50 in it. I bought one of them, and I may go back and get the other one. I've had good luck with this oil, but I may switch over this Slick 50 deal.
 
hha27d, no problem. Hope I didn't come off too "cold" with that response. Just wanted to alert you to the other recent threads on the topic.

Quacker State is a really good lube,,very similar to Penz,,though same blending plant ,,,Synthics and blends are better than most,,cant say too much more,,,,,,,,,BL

Bah, I just noticed we've started to get in some of the QS with Slick 50 now too. But even if it DOES become as cheap as our brand (which it still isn't by a good bit), it still will be inferior. After all, our oil is rebranded Havoline.
