Sure. It has a high viscosity indexed base stock like the rest of them, it uses a Lubrizoil additive package like most of them, and it uses some esters as seal conditioners like all of them do. It is a very good HM oil. And before someone throws a snide Slick 50 comment in there, they took it out.

Before Johnny, or anyone else can expand further than 'it's a good oil' you'll to expand on: - car, make, model, year? - car history with respect to maintenance and/or issues? - how you drive the car and in what climate? - what are your expectation of a High Mileage oil? - what oci will you be following? - etc

The oil is a great oil, but may not be the best choice for your application. More information is needed as Webfors has said.

So what' on tap for this month's oil change experiment Bigman? How about 1.23 quarts of Quakerstate, 2 quarts of Maxlife, a pint of brake fluid, another quart of Amsoil (we know you LOVE Amsoil), and rinse it all down good with some brake clean. That should resolve the foaming issues you had with your last experiment.

Apparently English wasn't a part of that PHD curriculum.
That dose not answer the question about Lubrizol..Now do it!

Are there conditions to any of the above that would preclude the use of QS or any other SM/GF-4 dino that is on the market today under the BITOG standard of 3-5K mi OCI with normal use?
