I decided to get my 2013 Fusion's oil changed at a Quaker State quick lube place. They didn't carry the Quaker State "All Mileage" oil that seemed like a good middle-ground, so I opted instead for QS High Mileage (I'm not sure that it was worth the $30 premium over regular Quaker State) . They used a Performax PO-21 filter, which sounds like a pretty average filter from what I can find.

I typically go 7-8K miles on Motorcraft 5W20 synthetic blend and a Motorcraft FL-910S filter, and end up with 20-30% left on the oil life monitor, which Ford says was designed for that oil and filter. I'm curious what people think regarding OCI with the QS High Mileage and Performax filter. The car has 143K miles.

Thanks!

Wait, I thought "all mileage" was just how they're phrasing their high mileage oil now. They're actually different?

The ratings on the oil will tell you how long it will last if the Motorcraft is SP for example rated it will last as long as a similar tier SP oil.
