Pretty impressive. The FB 20 uses zero oil in spite of the fact that I redline it several times/week. Did that since it had a couple hundred miles on it.
Having owned a Crosstrek a few years ago, redlining it will get you to 60 in about 9.5 seconds. Or allow you to go 60 up a mountain pass. That car always felt so underpowered. Always wondered why they didn't turbo it or throw the 2.5 in it. Now just saw that's an option.

I recently had a 2021 Crosstrek 2.5L for a day as a loaner vehicle and boy it was the most enjoyable Subaru I have ever driven without a turbo. They should just cancel the NA 2.0L engine and use the NA 2.5L in its place in every applicable vehicle.
