How good is PYB? I've heard from many BITOG users that it is the best DINO and better than some synthetics. How does it compare to Mobil Super?

PYB is one of the most loved Dino oils on BITOG. Is it better than Mobil Super? IMO yes,

but opinions vary. Search the site, PYB is talked about quite often here.

Both great products. Used for a reasonable OCI with a reasonable quality filter, your vehicle will have more than adequate protection either way.

PYB, the most expensive dino for sure. Better, there is no proof. It is pure subjective matter w/o scientific proof. 1st of all, all the SN oils are certified by API and good enough for your with regular service.

In my area PYB is cheaper than Valvoline White Bottle and Castrol GTX.

Most here would probably put PYB in the top three conventionals, and many would name it number one. It's definitely one of the best choices available IMO.

PYB is loved here and you can find the latest SN formula on VOA section. high moly and calcium.

I am currently using it to clean out slug on accord I got , P1 and PYB deals from black friday makes it like 11 dollar oil change that cleans.

I agree, from what I have read and UOA results, PYB is some very good dino oil. But, M5K can hold its own too! Go to the UOA Forum and look up 2010_FX4's UOA on M5K. The proof is in the pudding, or in this case, the oil.

They are all Group II and II+ oil. No proof to show which is better. Besides, oil company re-fomulate their oil once in a while. 20 years ago, PYB is use to be the worst sludge monster. Between $13 to $18, there are ST, QS, Valvoline, Castrol GTX, Motorcraft, Mobil Super, PYB and Chevron/Harvoline, Shell. All these are now SN certifieda and good for 5K OCI and last your car to 300k.
