Just got back from Bomgaars, here in Kansas, where I saw the Purolator White can filters ( made in China ) while Tractor Supply still has the Red cans. Is the basic Purolator filters going from Red cans to White cans or do they both exists?

Do you mean the Tech line?

They are essentially the shop version of the basic Purolator red can filters. They are all China made, however, in my experience I have found the construction of the Techs to be of much better quality. They are a bit lower efficiency and also use a nitrile ADBV instead of silicone, but they are only really meant for <5k mile OCIs so I have no problem with that.

For a while you could find them cheap on Amazon (~$2.50) which made them a great choice for short OCIs.

Yes, the white can most likely an M&H "purolator" TL made in China a "Purolator" in name only. That said, the anecdotes posted here of the M&H TL made in China have looked solid. 'Some' TL still made in the US are still Purolator, and in 'my' use and c&p experience with the TL14610, has been good. The TL is separate product from Classic red which have a silicone adbv vs nitrile for the TL.
