This one off a neighbor's 04 Civic LX w/just shy of 81k mi. Interval 5k mi. in ~10 months, with Total Quartz Dynamics 0w20. Super Tech High Mileage Full Syn 10k. 0w20 and another TL14610 went back. Pleased with the results, especially for $2.40. Nitrile adbv was still functioning. After draining a bit, opened couple inlet holes, lots of oil still in filter. Actually, took my time and cut open filter before completing the service just make sure another TL good to go.

Made 10/27/2022. After seeing this ordered two more from Amazon. After WCW dissected one, when I decided to try a couple.
.... no tears...
Fwiw, I've never had a tear in any Puro PL/L14610 series or Puro made like P1 clone US made Bosch Premium 3323 of which I've c&p many here in last couple/few years. Got another one of those waiting to post. Quit them for a while during tear spate, but gradually worked my way back, and like topic, all good. They've all been run on Hondas or Nissan Rogue.

Very nice. Thank You for c&p sir. I have few small’s at home to chop

No coo zealot, but glad topic made in the US, at least the ones I have. As noted, ordered a couple more so will see if that has changed and will update. I did see c&p here last week of the shorty TL14612 made in China. Looked well made, but that an "M&H" Purolator.

The topic Civic sees very little highway miles, which I would think would be the easiest. Mostly local around town, but many I think do get up to operating temps. For 79, owner still gets around. A timing belt engine so easier on oil than a chain.
