Good Morning folks. This filter and unknown oil was off a friends 2019 Dodge Journey with 4 cylinder engine. Had 5,600 miles on it. Put a Prime Guard Filter she supplied and Harvest King 5w20 in and on.

I suppose it's time to post this:
USED FILTERS in ORDER of ENTERTAINMENT VALUE (most to least)
1) Cabin Air / Pollen....................common neglect yields a variety of lofty filth
2) Engine Air..................................as above but usually less so with "squirrel larder" bright spots
3) Diesel Tank "Socks"................when they're the problem
4) Oil.................................................often just oily; sparkles and globs are really infrequent
5) Transmission............................often just oily; most bits stay in the pan
6) Gasoline.....................................a few crumbs & media discoloration is all I've ever seen PLUS they're a pain to open
7) Various AWD Bevel Gear.....maybe a shot glass of goo

Sincere thanks for the effort.

you had me at "shot glass of goo"

Filter looks OK, I guess...? Pretty standard, although the oil looks a little pasty, or maybe it's just the camera.

Also I just pulled a Purolator tech oil filter off my neighbor's van. Wondering if anyone cares to see a C&P.
