I have had Royal Purple filters absolutely polluted with glue and even on the media. This ONE is certainly very clean & in excellent shape. We've seen many with too much glue. I still use them & buy them at Menards as well.
I don't have a M+H/Purolator Spec Sheet for the subject PL11403 filter, but the Purolator Spec Sheet for the PL30001 (shows 99% @ 25u) doesn't match their website claim. Construction on this example looks pretty decent.
Misleading marketing that is so often mentioned.I don't have a M+H/Purolator Spec Sheet for the subject PL11403 filter, but the Purolator Spec Sheet for the PL30001 (shows 99% @ 25u) doesn't match their website claim. Construction on this example looks pretty decent.

I think the info that doesn't match the M+H specs is left over from before M+H acquired Purolator. Nobody cared to clean up the website's technical info.Misleading marketing that is so often mentioned.![]()
How many have called to check that particular model number & mentioned it doesn't match their sheet? Kind of ridiculous, isn't it?I think the info that doesn't match the M+H specs is left over from before M+H acquired Purolator. Nobody cared to clean up the website's technical info.
The M+H Pres will probably have them take the efficiency footnote off the website like they did for the Boss, lol. At this point, the only Purolators I can find an efficiency spec footnote for is the PurolatorONE (PL30001) and the red classic filter (L30001) at the bottom of those two web pages. How many have called to check that particular model number & mentioned it doesn't match their sheet?
