2005 Tundra 92400 miles, ~2,600 miles on the filter running Castrol GTX Ultraclean 5W30 oil.
June 2022 if I read the date code correctly.
Seemed like excessive glue on the bottom cup but otherwise I thought it looked ok.

Replaced with Toyota 90915-YZZD3 filter & Kirkland 5W30 picked up on sale.

Potting glue looks green.

A Purolator with a leaf spring that has a bypass valve in it instead of the bypass valve built into the end cap. How about a photo of a cleaned off leaf spring to see if it's ruffled or not - I can kind of see it in one photo in the bottom of the can. Maybe do a light leak test with it in the end cap. See if it's better stamped than the Champion Labs built filters with a leaf spring.

Looks great! Thanks for cutting this Purolator One PL10241.
Looks good. IIRC actual ISO efficiency on these is pretty good.
You're right, 99%@30. My 24 hp B&S on the Craftsman uses this one.

The metal is somewhat ruffled on the edges of the spring. Do you mean shine a light through the media end cap where the glue is?

The ruffles shown in the red ovals. Put the leaf spring all the way into the metal end cap, then put shine a flashlight into the center tube and look for light leakage between the end cap and leaf spring where the ruffles are located.
